On completion of the City & Guilds 2381 course help, the student can book in to a City & Guilds Approved Examination Centre to sit the online exam. The nearest centre can be found by visiting www.cityandguilds.com and searching for the qualification 2381.
The City and Guilds 2381 Course is a short course with an ‘open book’ multiple choice examination at the end.
The City and Guilds 2381 exam structure is based on the seven parts of the IEE Wiring Regulations and also the appendices.
The 2381 examination consists of a multiple choice test of 60 items which has to be completed in a maximum of 2 hours.
The table below identifies the eight parts of the 2381 exam and the number of questions and relevant weighting of each part. This gives a useful indication of how important each part of the exam is in relation to the final score you can achieve.
