The course is especially suited to those with limited experience of inspection and testing of electrical installations such as those working in allied trades or entering the electrical industry from other engineering disciplines.
The ElectaCourse Fundamental Inspection and Testing Home Study Course has been developed to help prepare students for the initial verification of electrical installations with the convenience of home study. It’s an ideal follow on from the 17th Edition Course.
Who is the 2392 Course suitable for?
There are no formal entry requirements for students undertaking this qualification, however it is expected that candidates would generally have a basic understanding and knowledge of electrical principles and science as well as experience of electrical installation work.
The 2392-10 qualification is an excellent grounding, combined with practical experience to prepare candidates for the City and Guilds 2394 and 2395 qualifications.
The Course is ideal for anyone involved in, or intending to become involved in electrical installation work. Our home study training course aims to help the student through the 2392-101 closed book multiple-choice online e-volve or GOLA exam and also help understand the requirements of the practical assessment. Both practicing electricians and those aiming to become involved in electrical work will find this qualification advantageous.
The course is designed to cover the outcomes of the City and Guilds units which will provide the student with the best form of learning and preparation for the fundamental inspection and testing exam.
Similar in content to our inspection and testing course and also containing enough material to help you progress to further inspection and testing qualifications, a 2392 qualification handbook can be downloaded to help you focus on the requirements for this particular qualification.
Starting with Module 1 covering the introduction, health and safety and bonding and ADS, the course continues through Modules 2 - 6 with regular revision exercises to help enforce the knowledge required by the student to gain this valuable qualification.
What are the Course Objectives?
The objective of this course is to provide participants with the information necessary to pass the City and Guilds 2392 online exam. It is also designed to provide participants with beneficial knowledge and help towards gaining the qualification where the student is studying or gaining practical experience at a separate location. This is an excellent course to take prior to gaining your 2391 qualification.

The test, entitled ‘Knowledge of Fundamental Initial Verification’ lasts a total of 100 minutes and contains 50 questions in the following format:
The included 2392 Exam Simulator will give you a very clear indication as to whether you would be capable of passing the actual exam and in which sections you need to concentrate on.
The second assessment (2392-102) is in the form of a practical test covering the practical skills of all three outcomes.
